The Protopic™ III-540 Dual is specially designed for on-demand lamination and the production of of SHR™ photos and all types of print enhancements through Sleeking™.
The SHR™ technology utilizes the special Polynex™ SHR™ laminate film, allowing lamination with a standard gloss photo finish, or with the embossed finish by engaging the SHR™ Emboss texture roller.
The Protopic™ III-540 Dual features a high-gloss chrome roller for heating and bonding of thermal Polynex™ SHR™.
Other features include an easy to use control dial and a 13 job memory program for automatic temperature and speed set up on specific jobs. The roller has a highly accurate temperature sensor for heat control.
For feeding the unit features the Easy-Feed™ table for simplified feeding, which automatically adjusts the gap for stock overlap. On the delivery side, the separator (also known as the bursting unit), ensures smooth and seamless film separation.
