Minimum Orders
GVDirect maintains a minimum order of $50 (before tax) for pickups and shipped products.

Tax Information
The Canadian Revenue Agency requires GVDirect Inc. to have in its files proper documentation from all its customers who claim a tax exemption. If the documentation is not received, GVDirect Inc. is required by law to charge the applicable tax on all invoices.
If you qualify for a tax exemption, please submit the proper documentation to 519.740.3276 or accounts@gvdirect.com. If your documentation is incomplete, your account will remain taxable until all of the information is received.
Exempt Documentation Requirements
First Nations: An individual may submit a Certificate of Indian Status card as proof of registration. The card displays the Canadian maple leaf logo followed by “Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.” The certificate may also bear the photo of the individual, a registry number (9 or 10 digits), the name of the band, and the family number.
Provincial Governments: Provincial and territorial governments that do not pay GST/HST on their purchases must provide a certification clause signed by an authorized official.
Invoicing
Invoices are mailed every Wednesday and Friday. We are happy to email invoices at the time of delivery if requested. Invoices will NOT be sent with shipments.
To view invoices and statements online, you must login to your account. Once logged in, you will have two options:

Same-Day Shipping

Overnight Shipping (Some Exceptions Apply)
Stock orders placed by 4:00pm EST typically deliver the next business day.
When Will An Order Ship?
Stocked item orders placed by 4:00pm EST (Monday–Friday) typically ship the same day the order is placed.
For custom item orders, a sales/service representative will specify the delivery at the time of order.

Deliveries to beyond shipping points usually take between 5–7 business days, depending on location. Deliveries via standard shipping method to Maritime provinces take a minimum of 2 business days.
Shipping Rates / Estimates *
At GVDirect Inc., we do our best to maintain minimal shipping charges.
For companies located in standard shipping locations within Ontario & Quebec, delivery is free* for orders over $50. Orders under $50 are subject to shipping charges.
There is a small flat-rate shipping charge for shipping to standard locations within the Maritime provinces. Delivery beyond shipping points and to the Maritime provinces and other various non-standard shipping locations including rural locations methods in Ontario, please ask for pricing.
For large machinery/equipment or lamination film rolls delivery, please call 1.877.526.6848 to receive a shipping estimation.

Delivery Methods
For online orders, the available carriers are listed in the “Shipping Method” box at checkout. This option allows you to specify your preferred carrier. In most cases, Purolator is the carrier selected by default.

Picking Up An Order
GVDirect Inc. is open 8:00am–4:30pm EST, Monday–Friday. We are located at 1261 Balmoral Road, Cambridge, Ontario, N1T 1C4
Minimum order $35 (before tax) for pickup. Orders under $35 are subject to flat $15 charge per order.
Loss & Damage
Notice of Claim for Loss or Damage, must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
GVDirect Inc. offers equipment leasing on most equipment. Please email requests to sales@gvdirect.com.
Leasing Details
- Leasing rates are paid at the beginning of the rental term.
- Leasing rates do not include delivery to and pick up from the client unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Leasing paid can be credited to the purchase price of the machine with the first three month rental period.
- Leasing will be granted based on good credit rating and knowledge of the client prior to delivery of the unit being leased. Certain machines may not always be available for lease – please contact us with inquiries. The client is financially responsible for any damage incurred to the equipment during the lease period.
GVDirect Inc. Warranty and Return Policy
Warranty / Defecting Product Return Policy
It is our policy to provide credit to any customer for an item under warranty received from our company that has a defect in manufacturing so long as the serial number/batch number, customer name, and a copy of the return authorization issued by GVDirect Inc. personnel are clearly attached to the product’s packaging and the defective product is received by GVDirect Inc.
Once it has been determined for certain that the defect is a manufacturing defect and nothing else, our company will issue a return authorization, and the product containing the manufacturing defect can be returned at GVDirect Inc.’s expense via GVDirect Inc.’s desired method only (in some cases, a photo may be sufficient, and we may advise the customer to just discard the defective product). Items must be packaged sufficiently for safe arrival.
If customer requests that a new unit be sent out prior to GVDirect Inc. receiving the defective unit (via the above instructions), a new invoice will be created and credit will be issued upon receipt of the defective unit once the claim is deemed to be valid.
No consequential loss will be acceptable.
"Not Suited" Product Return Policy
It is our policy to provide credit to any customer for an item “Not Suited” to the customer received by our company in the original packaging, unused, and in 100% re-sellable condition within 60 days of invoice date so long as the return authorization issued by GVDirect Inc. personnel accompanies the product.
“Not Suited” goods are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee (unless otherwise agreed upon in writing), which will be deducted from the credit/refund to the customer and must be delivered to GVDirect Inc. via a prepaid method (at the customer’s expense).

Warranty Outline
- Warranties are against manufacturing defects (excludes normal wear, abuse, or misuse)
- Returned items prepaid via GVDirect Inc. must be packaged in the same manner they were originally delivered in. We will not be responsible for damage as a result of insufficient or improper packaging.

- If the customer requests that a new unit be sent out prior to GVDirect Inc. receiving the defective unit, a new invoice will be created and credit will be issued upon receipt of the defective unit and once the claim is deemed to be valid.
- Carrier/method of transportation will be selected by GVDirect Inc.
- Any merchandise returned for repair or replacement needs to be authorized by a GVDirect Inc. representative prior to shipment. Please have the equipment model, serial number, and original invoice or packaging slip number readily available when submitting your request.
- If the customer is requesting that a part be sent out on warranty, GVDirect Inc. may request that the defective parts be returned.
- For non-warranty repairs, a $120.00 inspection charge + travel and any required parts will apply.
- Regarding any consumable products, claims raised after 180 days from the date of invoice will not be accepted.
- No consequential loss will be acceptable.
